- This is my second term on the board ( 2002 - Present)
What is one change you would like to see in LBUSD?
- I would like to see the district truly listen to all people working in the district and show greater trust and appreciation to those people working with students. Decisions should be made at the school site level where the students are and where decisions will have the greatest impact on student learning. There should be some guidance and uniformity in the district, but the top down, one size lesson fits all students approach leaves many children behind
What is your favorite restaurant in Long Beach?
- Any restaurant is my favorite if my husband and children are with me
What is the most important thing a TALB rep should do?
- Communication
- Reps are the back bone of the union. Reps keep members informed on a multitude of issues which in turn empowers the membership
