We will be rescheduling this Information Meeting for Future Educators in the Spring to see if we get more interest later.
We are restructuring this activity from being a Mentorship Reception to being an Information Meeting for Future Educators. We are inviting high school and college students interested in becoming an educator to come and meet current teachers and ask questions about starting a career in education. In the Spring, we'll have the Mentorship Reception we were originally planning. TALB members interested in becoming a mentor for a future educator are welcome to sign up below!
Are you thinking about becoming a teacher?
Would you like to mentor a future educator?
TALB is hosting an Information Meeting for Future Educators. Teachers, nurses, librarians, as well as college students and high school students interested in becoming an educator are invited.
This is a casual meeting to help elevate the value of education professions. You can talk with someone one-on-one to either ask specific career-related questions or make yourself available for new teachers or future educators to share your insights. Refreshments will be provided.
