About Me

What do you currently teach?

• I am currently teaching a special education/autism class with 4th and 5th graders
• I have also taught 7th grade English and History

How long have you served on the Board of Directors?

• I was the Jordan Elementary Director for six years
• I have been the 1st Vice-President for two years

What is one change you would like to see in LBUSD?

• One day I would like to see administrators held accountable for their behavior and professionalism to the same extent as teachers are

What is your favorite restaurant in Long Beach?

• Frenchy's Bistro on Anaheim.  Tre Magnifique!

What is the most important thing a TALB rep should do?

• As Reps, Board Members, and Officers, we all need to ensure our contract is followed and everyone's rights are being respected.  At each school site we need to make sure all members have a voice in their Association.  Members are entitled to fair elections, timely information, and input in decisions made by the Rep. Council and Board of Directors. It is the duty of the Association Reps and the Board to make sure these things happen

What is the most important thing a site administrative staff should do?

• Make sure the school is clean, the supply room is stocked, kids behave, and let teachers teach
